Catherine Mary Scarlett Campbell

"Mira"
Catherine (Assistant Director) began performing in the woodland at age 5 with her dog Guinness, “for the trees and whoever else was listening.” In grade two, she played the Big Bad Wolf to rave reviews, and became so immersed in her role that the other children refused to play with her. More recently, Cate has played the lead in Symphony in Indigo (unreleased), and a tiny part in The Key of the Dragon King (in production). Besides the Belles, Cate’s favorite stage roles include: “Antigone”, “Phyllis” (T.V. Land), and “Cate” (The Courtesans). Cate would like to thank her friend Amethyst Mariani and her grandmother Josephine.
Ruth E Daughters

"Maggie"
Ruth’s (Director) first major role was the lead in a production put on by her girl scout troop. Years later, she is a veteran of numerous song and dance performance troupes, and even has a television pilot and a movie to her credit. Ruth would name as her most memorable performance the partnering with tap dance great Chester Whitmore for a New Years Eve swing dance show in Las Vegas. Ruth fills her spare time with costuming, dancing, singing karaoke, and pondering potential subject matter for her next theoretical coffee table book.

Among her favorite roles are “Audrey” in Little Shop of Horrors, “Eliza” in My Fair Lady, “Graziella” in West Side Story (for which she was also the Assistant Director), and within the short story Operator.Shanna’s other hobbies include writing naughty parodies to popular songs (particularly of the Disney variety) with her fellow Belle, Mindy Willens, and organizing and performing in shows for non-profit organizations to raise funds for such causes as cystic fibrosis and breast cancer.
